Meet Siliva, my SpanisH exchange buddy from Universad de Navarrra.
I emailed Silvia the day before I arrived at Spain, and at the airport I saw this lovely and bubbly happy Pamplona chica. And guess what I did the first thing I got to my hostel.. I did a photoshoot with her of course! Despite of the 15hrs flight and jet lagging, Siliva, the vintage rooms and the fact that I was in Spain just inspired me a lot.
Thank you Silvia for helping me settle down in Spain! <3 <3
Sarah is a talented girl photographer I've been following for a while. I always loved her coloring, her styles and the way she sees eveything;)
She reached out to me for a collaboration in the summer, and so a story of two girls in white dresses with huge cameras walking in the grass fields..happend!
Loved Sarah's photos of me <3 （http://saraheliana.com/miya/）Always a fan of female photographers' softness :)
Thanks Sharia Ali for doing our makeup！
I got MoMo partially inspired by Charmaine's MiuMiu. Of course we would have a kitty play date together on a sunny afternoon when both our cats felt like meowing at each other.
Le girl with her fashion blog (Komorebi by Charmyn Chan) rocked her style under my eyes. Been a year since we first met, girl you filled me with energy every time we hang out <3
Margaret and I were both on the exec team for Frosh 2012, together with the other team members we shared the most unforgettable Frosh experience. Knowing Margo, this tiny little girl who looks like a 1st year kid but have the strongest heart inside, I look up to her for her independence, persistence and all the feminine character that i want to have. I secretly want to grow up to be like her, or have her spirit of not giving up.
We shared a same room during Frosh retreats, and Margo told me her experiences like telling a bed time story. Watching her handling everything during...
Mina messaged me while I was still in China about having a portrait session, and she was the first person I ever shot after I got back to Vancouver!
As a LA girl, an aspiring future model and a lovely bubbly Miss.Sunshine, Mina immediately brought me back to the shooting mode from vacation mode. And guess what..she knows the actor for Batman! Okay TMI but I was sooooo jealous.....
Good luck on your modeling career Mina :)
Back in April Charmaine and I had this golden hour photowalk together before visiting her cat MiuMiu. To be honest all I could remember from that day was Miu Miu but here's our walk from the chase of sunset :)
There's this thing between us girls, that when you see each other's pictures about random things in life, even if you have never met, you still feel somehow connected. Or maybe it's between artists? But anyway when I first saw Jubes comic blog (Check her page out! http://jubescomicblog.com/), and saw what she does in life besides being in ..NeruoBiology, I was instantly attracted to her lifestyle, her comics, her positive attitude and all those things we have in common.
Of course I asked her out on a date! Or in our words, an "artist's meet up" over coffee :) There's just this strong sense...
Lee has always been our model whenever we go on photowalk s for whatever random reasons, may it be to capture cheery blossoms or just to explore hidden gems in UBC.. here's our jouney with another Lee--Justin Lee!
Amie has been our featured BVP artist for quite a while. Ever since we first started the project, her voice, her laughter and her charisma have given us a lot of positive energy. Check out her channel here www.youtube.com/amieyosh
This shoot was from a sunny afternoon around last fall, right about the time when I first got my 5D Mark III. Amie was also the first person I've shot with my 5D Mark II two years ago----it felt as if she signify a new chapter in my photography career XD. She's also moving on to her next stage in Music, and has been working on her very own album (Really...
